ECSWIN - System Concept

ECSWIN is the name of the concept autec uses to create process automation and process integration solutions in the beverage and food industries.

Expertise and years of experience have enabled us to create system modules that can be combined to a custom-made supervisory control system based on the Siemens WinCC or Wonderware InTouch platform.

Standard PLC Software

All our standard PLC software packages are based on the ECSWIN system. The supervisory control system is therefore able to adjust parameters such as delay times, initial and final values and to carry out simulations.

Stell2000
Stell2000 is a collection of blocks for Simatic S7 -300/400 of the company Siemens. This building block package is used to manage final controlling elements. Stell2000 is an enhancement of Stell16, the final controlling element manager for Simatic S5.

Measured Value Processing
The standard autec measured value processing module is used to evaluate the signals supplied by electrical measuring instruments and to display the measured values as real numbers. The measuring ranges for temperature, pressure and conductivity are defined via the visualisation system.

Digital Signal Processing
The standard autec digital signal processing module integrates all signals displayed in digital form on the flow chart screens of the visualisation system.
Each signal can be adjusted to suit the requirements of the process by defining an ON and an OFF delay.

Controller Software Package
The autec controller package is based on Siemens closed-loop control blocks. It facilitates controller programming and integrates autec measured value processing. This provides the user with a compact and easy-to-use controller package.
2-position controllers, 3-position controllers, step and PID controllers can be implemented.

Sequencer Management - Sequential Control System
The sequencer is the core element of a plant control program. It defines the sequence of steps in a production process and thus guarantees the consistently high quality of the finished product.

The autec sequencer management module is a flexible, easy- to-use software component and provides the user with an excellent tool for developing the plant control program.

Its design is based on the ECSWIN concept, but it is also suitable for use in combination with other types of operation systems. Error evaluation typically is the only feature that needs to be customised, as errors are treated differently by different types of visualisation systems. Various blocks are available for configuration purposes.

RECO – Recipe Control

RECO represents continuous and batch-oriented process sequences in graphical form. RECO, designed in accordance with the requirements for defining recipes of NAMUR (ISA S88.01), enables the user to customise the process sequence and the necessary parameters without any intervention into the control software.

Change history management allows archived sequences to be activated any time.

Planning lists make it possible to automatically start processes, either triggered by time or an event.

The step sequences created, together with all parameters, comments and trigger lists associated with the function, can be exported and evaluated in MS Excel.

MESAN - Event Log

The event log includes all messages, operations and status information relating to the processes and equipment units.

The convenient analysis functions allow fast access to data for optimising process sequences and maintenance.

ELCOTREND – Measured Value Acquisition and Archiving System

The trend module allows measured data for specific batches to be archived. It records both digital and analog data and represents them in the form of graphs.

Many filters, comparison and evaluation functions make ELCOTREND a valuable tool for production and plant analysis.

ELCOTREND has been approved as a system for the acquisition and archiving of measuring data by the Federal Research Institute of Nutrition and Food, Federal Dairy Research Centre. Test certification: KI-M 20/06

FERCON - Industry Module Fermentation Control for Breweries

The FERCON module is used to create and manage recipes for fermentation process control.

The recipe determines the progression of the target temperature and pressure graphs as a function of laboratory values, times and measured values.

The lab result data and the data for batch tracking are managed in the corresponding archive.

ECSBDE - Production Data Acquisition and Batch Tracking

ECSBDE includes a comprehensive software package for the acquisition and evaluation of process data which can be analysed using commercially available software tools. The data structure in the database is open and documented.
