autec’s comprehensive services extend from preparing the design specification and functional description, software production, visualisation and process data acquisition through to the validation and commissioning of a system.

We design the control system in accordance with the definition of the task. The design team for the project is set up to meet the requirements of the specific industry sector, the scope of the order and the control system.

In close cooperation with the customer the process to be implemented is analysed, broken down into control-engineering elements and recombined to create a complete system.

Hardware Planning

Our specially trained staff in the Electrical Design department produce plans and drawings on CAD workstations in accordance with the latest regulations and standards.

For electrical planning we have adopted a very practical approach - optimised again and again due to our many years of experience.

Switch cabinet assembly

In our ultra-modern workshop, all types of switch cabinets, including e.g. stainless steel enclosures, are assembled in accordance with the design plans produced. These are mainly cabinets for instrumentation and control systems, power sections and valve actuation.

All switch cabinets and components are thoroughly inspected and function-tested in conformity with the latest technological standards. It goes without saying that all VDE/VDI and DIN standards are complied with. This is certified in the acceptance report.

PLC Software

All peripheral signals come together in the PLC. Sensors and other types of signals are read via inputs, bus systems and interface connections. The functions programmed ensure evaluation and processing of the signals. Performing recurring tasks with repetitive functions is the job of the autec standard programs.

Development, maintenance and documentation require a lot of time and care. But this working method pays off - for us and for our customers!

Our standard modules s are parameterised in accordance with the process and combined with customer-specific solutions to create the overall project. The coordination skills, diligence and creativity of our engineers are crucial factors for this.

We rely on innovative and proven technology: we mainly use Siemens Simatic S7 with Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet and Simatic PCS 7 and Allen-Bradley.

IT-Systems

autec IT Systems creates the connection between management and production. Due to the horizontal and vertical integration of all systems, information is available in any density – from the machine up to the ERP system (e.g. SAP). This also applies to the flow of data between the management system and the machine. A distributed control system is thus transformed into an integrated, transparent supervisory control system.

autec IT Systems components provide functionalities for production planning and production management, so that process sequences, equipment utilisation and performance data can be optimised. Seamless data acquisition and the resulting accurate documentation of production processes ensures prompt detection of weak points or faults. This ensures full tracking of production processes, which is a legal requirement for the food industry.

Service

Systematic, practical training will empower our customers’ staff to eliminate faults on their own and carry out plant expansions independently.

Needless to say that autec staff will always be glad to provide advice and practical support to the local operators using our Teleservice or remote maintenance tools. And our specialists will be on site as soon as possible if required.

Maintenance

Depending on the type and layout of the plant, wearing parts are inspected and replaced as required in accordance with a previously agreed schedule.
Our maintenance service also includes visual inspection and cleaning of the switch cabinets.
