autec GmbH was founded in 1989 by the three managing partners Bernd Klempau, Jürgen Rolf and Jürgen Rosenthal.

Today, autec employs more than 30 highly qualified staff in the areas of electrical system planning, manufacturing, assembly, project engineering, software production, IT systems, commissioning and sales and administration.

Since the company’s move to our own buildings we have been processing orders worldwide from our headquarters in Alt-Mölln. Our projects range from simple system extensions up to the automation of highly complex production plants. The additional capacity requirement for hardware planning and the assembly of switch cabinets was met by building a new workshop in 2004.

Company philosophy

Humans are constantly developing themselves and their environment because they are always striving to improve and become more efficient. Humans operate computers to control automatic processes in production facilities. This interface between human and machine plays an important role at autec. And we provide the systems that help to organise and analyse large amounts of data so that you can respond to the information promptly and correctly.

We develop customer-tailored solutions for any problem, process or requirement – for small single systems and large plants alike. This declared objective can only be achieved with sensitivity, dedication, perfectionism, with a keenness for detail, concentration, know-how and a feeling for the people who are going to use the technology. We design systems that motivate the people who operate them. Because only people who like their work, do it well.

Quality Management System

In early 2009 we established a Quality Management System based on our internal company guidelines and work instructions. The objective of this is to offer our customers a constantly high quality level and to continually improve our performance.

In June 2009, this Quality Management System was successfully certified for all areas of the company’s operations by an independent, accredited agency to the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 standard.
